HBO Max has been a strong supporter of Apple Vision Pro from the start, offering a robust native app for visionOS with a Game of Thrones immersive environment.

Today, HBO has announced an update to the visionOS app with an all-new environment: Hogwarts Great Hall.

The Hogwarts Great Hall immersive environment will be familiar to Harry Potter fans, as it’s one of the most iconic rooms at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the series.

The environment on Apple Vision Pro offers separate modes for Day and Night. You get the full Hogwarts Great Hall experience with the robust architecture, floating candles, and iconic long tables. While browsing the HBO Max app immersed in the environment, you’ll also hear the ambient Hogwarts Great Hall sound effects.

You can download the latest version of the HBO Max app on your Apple Vision Pro to check it out. You’ll need to be on visionOS 2.6 and HBO Max 6.2.0 or later to try it.
