The Apple has just released a smart battery case for iPhone 6 and 6s, and it sells $99 on Apple Store. The particular case is equal to an additional 1877mAh battery for iPhone 6 and 6s so that both of them can have a longer time of endurance.

To be fair, it’s a professionally-designed product but makes the iPhone a little heavier to hold. In fact, Apple hopes that it can help iPhone 6 and 6s have a better battery performance than iPhone 6 plus and 6s plus, while this case still turns to be lighter than the common third-party power bank and some protection cases.

According to the Apple’s introduction, “Charge your iPhone and battery case simultaneously for increased talk time up to 25 hours, Internet use up to 18 hours on LTE, and even longer audio and video playback.” So it is obvious that the special smart battery case means a combination of protection case and power bank, and what's more, you can clearly see the intelligent battery status on your iPhone’s look screen and in notification center.

It’s a possible way for Jonathan Ive, Apple’s Chief Design Officer, and his design team to promote the operating time of iPhone 6/6s.
